THE EXPERIENCE

November marks the Tomorrow Theater’s one-year birthday! To celebrate, we’re screening the 4K restoration of The Birthday, starring Corey Feldman. The film premiered at the (first ever) Fantastic Fest in 2004, but never had a theatrical release in the United States until now. Jordan Peele called the film “a cinematic marvel that demands captivation and will never relent to your expectations. A true ‘what-the-f-did-I-just-watch’ experience. Feldman at his best.”

Before the film, Soothe Folk will also be demonstrating live chainstitching in the theater from a custom flash sheet with special limited-edition Tomorrow Theater designs! A very limited quantity of first-come-first-serve chain stitching will be available for guests (yes, you can bring your baseball cap for stitching!).

We will also have birthday hats and cupcakes! Happy Birthday to us!!

CHAINSTITCH EMBROIDERY: Soothe Folk

Alex Stone (MFA) is a chainstitch embroidery artist living in Portland, OR. She started her chainstitch embroidery business in 2022, and now creates custom bespoke embroidery on clothing and artwork. She brings her embroidery setup to live events to bring this form of embroidery back into the public eye.
