A celebration of multi-talented national treasure Dolly Parton on the eve of her new album, Rockstar. 

Rhinestones might look cheap and gaudy, but in the right light, boy are they fabulous! Watch Dolly teach Sly a thing or two about Country Music; dress up and be there to vote if this is a comedy, a drama, a relic, a child of the 80’s, or just bizarre enough to be crowned a Dolly-tastic classic. Preceded by music from the fine folks who put on Dolly Hoot Night! Music starts at 8:40PM.

Alexa Wiley, a Portland-based musician with an abundance of long-time local musical roots, will perform Dolly Parton covers with her bandmate and lead guitarist Bret Malmquist prior to the screening. Alexa Wiley’s creations are a mix of poetry, jazz, world beat, country, rock, and folk accented by evocative vocal harmonies. More details about her work can be found on her website.
