As the creative landscape shifts before our eyes, MIXED* invites filmmakers, artists, and technologists to pause, reflect, and experiment—to explore the future of storytelling together.
This isn’t about replacing tradition or craft; it’s about expanding what’s possible. The tools are changing, the pace is accelerating, but the heart of the story remains—even as the future rushes in.
MIXED* is both a showcase and a conversation starter: a space for curious creators and audiences navigating how stories are imagined, produced, and shared in the age of intelligence.
ABOUT THE EVENT
Part film showcase, part provocative panel, part platform for conversation—MIXED* is a collaborative experiment at the bleeding edge of storytelling.
This one-night event at the Tomorrow Theater in Portland, Oregon (February 4, 2026) features a curated program of short films blending traditional filmmaking with AI-forward production approaches.
Screenings will be followed by a live panel discussion and post-show mixer, bringing together Portland’s creative and tech communities for a reflective, future-facing dialogue.
The evening celebrates the craft of cinema while exploring the new tools reshaping how stories come to life—anchored in the belief that technology should serve human creativity, not the other way around.

Presentation of The Asterisk Award
