Do you love puppets?! Not only can you see your love of puppets on screen, but you can buy some of Snarlskin’s original puppets in the lobby prior to the screening!

Influenced by practical horror effects of 1980’s movies, as well as the fantastical and nuanced creatures of Jim Henson and Maurice Sendak, Snarlskin has been drawing and sculpting monsters for as long as he can remember.

IN THE LOBBY: Snarlskin

SnarlSkin makes unique monster masks, claws, and costume pieces to help people release their inner beasts. He started making masks to wear on Halloween, and, as a glasses wearer, he designs his masks to fit over them. He’s been refining his methods and techniques for over a decade, and learned how to use cheap, durable, and mostly recycled materials to create his monsters.

ON SCREEN: The NeverEnding Story

1984. Directed by Wolfgang Petersen. Runtime: 94 minutes. Rated PG.
While hiding from bullies in his school’s attic, a young boy discovers the extraordinary land of Fantasia, through a magical book called The Neverending Story. The book tells the tale of Atreyu, a young warrior who, with the help of a luck dragon named Falkor, must save Fantasia from the destruction of The Nothing.
