THE EXPERIENCE

Ready to sing along to Shake Your Groove Thing and dance in the aisles? For its 30th anniversary birthday party, it is time to rev up the pink tour bus, head to Tomorrow Theater, and celebrate the wonder that is The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. Costumes highly encouraged so bring your bestie and your best self for one of the best nights of the year. Low Bar Chorale will host a group sing-along prior to the screening.

ON SCREEN: The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert

1994. Directed by Stephan Elliott. Runtime: 104 minutes. Rated R.
With a contract to perform a drag show way out in the Australian desert, Tick, Adam and Bernadette journey across the Australian Outback in their battered, pink tour bus “Priscilla”, along the way encountering various groups and individuals.

ON STAGE: Low Bar Chorale

Low Bar ChoraleThe Low Bar Chorale is a singing concert, where the audience is the lead singer. Backed by a live band, they do songs from the 70s up to now: rock, indie, pop, R&B, and the occasional mashup. Throughout the show, they teach the crowd harmonies and background vocals for the songs. Everyone is welcome –  all skill and confidence levels. Sing on, you crazy diamond!
