THE EXPERIENCE

Join us for the Queer Futures Art Show & Non-Partisan Voter Training event, presented by LGBTQ2SIA+ and ALAANA (African, Latinx, Asian, Arab, Native American) artist community–based organization, Future Prairie, at the Portland Art Museum’s Tomorrow Theater.

This exciting evening celebrates queer art and community empowerment with short performances of new work from emerging local artists. Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn about Portland’s new ranked-choice voting system through a non-partisan educational session. This is a fantastic chance to engage with local art, gain insight into an important civic process, and connect with queer artists and community members.

The event will be hosted by Onry & include a dance performance by Akela Jaffi, free headshots for artists by Justine Vanderpool; as well as musical and spoken word performances by Danielle Barker, B3NTL3Y, Saeeda Wright, and Cyrus Nabipoor.
