Between Milan and the mountains runs a story of connection, memory, and movement. Energia Vitale combines the achievements of today’s climbers on historic routes opened by Vitale Bramani, mountaineer and founder of Vibram, with stories and memories from those who lived the pioneering age of mountaineering.
From the Duomo of Milan to the Alps, through cities, trains and rock faces, the film explores the deep link between the urban world and the alpine world. Vibram becomes the symbol of this energy that connects past and present, people and landscapes, in a journey that celebrates the origin and continuity of one vital breath.
