Hannah May Cumming is a British-South African writer, director, and producer most known for Baby Fever (2022) and Fanatico (2019). She is the creator and co-founder of Monstrous Femme Films, a queer-feminist horror production company based in Portland, OR. Her work has screened at several prestigious festivals such as Screamfest LA, Brooklyn Horror Film Festival, FilmQuest, and more. Her first film, Fanatico (2019), is platformed on Alter and has amassed over 100,000 views. In 2022 she and her writing partner, Alex Hartwig, won the Grand Prize from the Killer Shorts Screenplay competition for the Baby Fever screenplay, placing 1st out of 1,551 entries. Her films have won several awards such as Best Director, Best Film, Best Production Design, Audience Choice Award, and more. She also works in the film industry as a Director’s Assistant and Production Coordinator. Hannah is based out of both Portland, OR and Los Angeles, CA.
