THE EXPERIENCE
Join us for the most unbound night of the year!
The only thing more beloved and Portland-rific than Beavers might be the genuinely amazing artists living, working, and creating the future in our midst!
Celebrating our first annual All Tomorrow’s Artists Awards before the screening, we’ll be giving the class of 2024 amazing artists their crowns, sashes, and all the flowers in thanks for all they do to make this community so fine. Then we’ll dive headlong into the wildest, most original film of 2024 (and the Tomorrow Theater’s all-time best seller!). The 2024 honorees include: DJ Anjali, Anthony Hudson / Carla Rossi, Violet Hex, Jack Kent, Fry, Low Bar Chorale, Andee Hess, and Makrai Crecelius.
We’re also thrilled to welcome back accordion extraordinaire Jet Black Pearl!
ON SCREEN: Hundreds of Beavers
2022. Directed by Mike Cheslik. Runtime: 108 minutes. Not Rated.
This modern day silent film feels like a live action cartoon, complete with slapstick comedy and humans dressed up in fuzzy beaver costumes. In this 17th-century, supernatural silent winter epic, a drunken applejack salesman must go from zero to hero and become North America’s greatest fur trapper by defeating, yes, HUNDREDS OF BEAVERS.
