THE EXPERIENCE

New year, new moon! We’re celebrating transformation with our FULL MOON RISING 🌕 series, featuring some of our favorite werewolf films.

ON SCREEN: Ginger Snaps

2000. Directed by John Fawcett. Runtime: 1 hour 48 minutes.

When a shy teenager’s new-found powers help him score at basketball – and with the popular girls – he has some pretty hairy decisions to make.

The story of two outcast sisters, Ginger and Brigitte, in the mindless suburban town of Bailey Downs. On the night of Ginger’s first period, she is savagely attacked by a wild creature. Ginger’s wounds miraculously heal but something is not quite right. Now Brigitte must save her sister and save herself.
