THE EXPERIENCE

Join PAM CUT for a once-in-a-lifetime cinematic experience hosted by legendary, Academy Award-winning director Francis Ford Coppola (The Godfather, Apocalypse Now, The Outsiders).

Featuring an intimate, unfiltered conversation about the future of society with the legendary director, this event also includes a screening of Francis’ monumental 2024 film Megalopolis

A sci-fi fever dream decades in the making: part utopian myth, part political parable, part operatic love story, and completely unlike anything else you’ll see this year, this special event offers fans a rare opportunity to experience the film – not currently available on any streaming platform – exactly as Francis intended, replete with interactive elements!

The screening will be followed by an interactive audience discussion entitled “How to Change Our Future” plus an in-depth Q&A.

ON SCREEN: Megalopolis

2024. Directed by Francis Ford Coppola. Runtime: 2 hours 18 minutes. Rated R.

Genius artist Cesar Catilina seeks to leap the City of New Rome into a utopian, idealistic future, while his opposition, Mayor Franklyn Cicero, remains committed to a regressive status quo, perpetuating greed, special interests, and partisan warfare. Torn between them is socialite Julia Cicero, the mayor’s daughter, whose love for Cesar has divided her loyalties, forcing her to discover what she truly believes humanity deserves.

ON STAGE: Francis Ford Coppola

Francis Ford Coppola is an Academy Award–winning director, writer, and producer whose visionary work has defined American cinema for over five decades. Best known for The Godfather trilogy, Apocalypse Now, and The Conversation, Coppola has consistently pushed the boundaries of storytelling, form, and independent filmmaking.
