THE EXPERIENCE

Honoring two of our late heroes (Dolly Parton and Tim Curry) with the only film they ever appeared in together! This hilarious mockumentary follows fictional fallen star Jackie Washington (Jenifer Lewis) as she plots her spectacular comeback, captured by a British documentarian (Tim Curry) in a Behind the Music-style made-for-TV movie.

And the cameos! Alongside Dolly and Tim Curry, the all-star cast includes guest appearances by Whoopi Goldberg, Bette Midler, Liza Minnelli, and Chris Rock. The film won an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Television Movie in 2000.
